The sequel to the acclaimed "The Heart of Algebra" (https://www.edrev.co/gtedclasses). This pricecovers all 6 sessions (Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 7/28 - 8/9).
The class will run for 2 weeks, M, W, F, 4:30-6pm Eastern. This engaging, interactive class will provide a deep understanding of the most important concepts in Algebra 2. Just like the Heart of Algebra 1, this class is based on the book I’m writing which is designed to cover all of the most essential aspects of Algebra from 7th grade through 11th grade. While the exact content covered and pace will depend on the class’s comfort level and understanding, in our six 1.5hr classes I aim to cover about 25-50% of the (non-graphing) material you’d see in a full-year of a public school Algebra 2 class. Specifically, I’ll aim to explore a number of concepts including:
Exponents, radicals, and rational exponents
Multiplying Polynomials of any size
Factoring Common Terms
Polynomial Factorization (with an emphasis on Quadratic factorization)
Solving Polynomials
Solving Rational Equations**
Note: This course is designed to take a purely algebraic approach, and does not intend to cover graphing.
